WELCOME to the Headquarters of Amphibious-Fleet.

This website has been created in order to bring together all of the ships that have been, or still serve under the combined operations insignia. We remember ships such as Intrepid & Fearless and the support ships Sir Bedivere, Lancelot and Galahad and their sisters. We also acknowledge the modern ancestors to these heroic ships; Ocean, Albion & Bulwark supported by the new fleet of Bay Class Royal Auxiliary vessels. Each ship has been given its own information where you can also purchase memorabilia and merchandise uniquely designed by one of our associated websites.

Arguably the most famous amphibious assault was the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944, in which British, Canadian, and US forces were landed at Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. The organizational planning of the landing itself (Operation Neptune) was in the hands of Admiral Bertram Ramsay. It covered the landing of the troops and their re-supply. The next great assault was carried out in San Carlos bay some 38 years later during the retaking of the Falkland Islands in 1982.

Without the ships of the Royal Navy's Amphibious fleet, these assaults could not have taken place and this website has been established in order to pay tribute to the men and ships that make up the Amphibious Fleet. We also honour the men that forged the methods of modern amphibious warfare on ships such as HMS Fearless, HMS Intrepid and the Auxiliary LCL's such as Sir Galahad, Sir Bedivere and Sir Tristram.

Should you have an ideas or information that you feel might make this website better then please email us here at Amphibious-Fleet HQ. We are also seeking associations or websites for each of the ships named and would be very interested in any images or relating documents that you may have.

We now have several items in stock and these are available for immediate despatch. The shirts come in a range of sizes but only in the colours shown for each vessel. Should you wish to have your ship in another colour you should email us with your requirements.

Baseball caps are one size fits all and are only available in the colour shown.

We also do a range of polo shirts with the crest of your choice. There is no minimum order which is better for the customer. Polo shirts come in a range of sizes and colours and can be ordered from our NAVAL STORES
